- Grimes Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport located one mile north of Urbana, Ohio on Route 68. Facilities include a 4,400’ runway with full parallel taxiway. Operations are supported by a GPS approach with vertical guidance and AWOS III weather reporting. Grimes Municipal Airport is owned by the City of Urbana, but the Airport is 100% self-supporting, receiving no money from the City’s General Operating Fund. Grimes Municipal Airport is managed by 1 full-time and 2 part-time associates.

- The Grimes Flying Lab Museum & Foundation preserves and maintains the legacy of Warren Grimes, who is widely considered the ‘Father of the Modern Aviation Lighting Industry.
- Urbana is home to Mid-America Flight Museum Restoration and is currently restoring multiple aircraft to flight worthy condition. Among these are fabric control surfaces for our B-17 Bomber, a Howard DGA-11, and the Gee Bee QED. Mid-America Flight Museum is based out of Mt Pleasant, TX.
