Requests for Accident and Incident Reports can be made during regular business hours. All reports must go through an approval process before being released. Please allow two to three days for approval. Other reports may have to be approved by the City Prosecutor for release.
License for Peddlers, Solicitors, Canvassers, Intinerant Vendors, or Transient Dealers can be obtained during regular business hours. The requirements for obtaining a license are as follows:
All licenses shall end December 31, of that calendar year in which they are acquired, regardless of the date the license was issued. An identification badge will be issued and shall be worn when peddling, soliciting, or canvassing.
Background Checks (Criminal Record Reports) can be obtained during regular business hours. The request form can be downloaded below. The report form must be submitted by the person whose name appears on the request form and picture identification is required.

- Fill out an application
- Be fingerprinted (B.C.I. WebCheck)
- Provide a picture I.D.
- Pay a $50.00 fee ($35.00 WebCheck + $15.00 Solicitor's License Fee)
