Mascot - Officer Stanley

In April, 2012, a local family approached us with their desire to help the police division in its outreach efforts with the youth of our community.  The family asked to remain anonymous and offered a substantial monetary donation to be used in creating a new outreach program for the Urbana police division. We developed a new mascot, “Officer Stanley”, who we now use to make appearances throughout the community representing the police division.  Officer Stanley made his first appearance at the August “Urbana Police – Community Night Out” and has continued to be a big hit with youngsters, making appearances in parades, at school events and at the County fair.
