This online traffic complaint form procedure is designed to allow the citizens of Urbana to report directly to the Urbana Police Division traffic problems that are occurring in your neighborhood or a particular part of the city.
Examples of such traffic complaints are speeding vehicles, vehicles running stop signs or traffic signals, long-term parking issues, ongoing reckless driving complaints, and other violations that are ongoing.
This complaint form is not to be used to complain about a citation you may have received or to complain about a member of the Urbana Police Division. If you have a complaint about an officer's demeanor you can go to the division forms section and fill out the appropriate form. When completing the form, please be as specific as possible as the time and place the violation is occurring. This will allow the officers to be more effective in handling your complaint.
If you are making a parking complaint, please be aware that officers can only take enforcement action against parking violations found under the 351 section of the Urbana Codified Ordinances.
